The Teachers’ Day Celebration was held on 08^th September 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in the M.Sc. Laboratory of the Department of Physics, Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam.  The programme was attended by 129 participants, including students, faculty members, and laboratory assistants. The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. D. Aruldhas, Head of the Department of Physics, who warmly welcomed all the staff and students and highlighted the importance of celebrating Teachers’ Day. This was followed by a special talk on Teachers’ Day by Aksha R of III B.Sc. Physics, who expressed gratitude towards teachers and spoke about their valuable role in guiding and inspiring students. Following the talk, gifts were distributed to the teachers as a token of love, respect and appreciation for their dedication and service. The celebration continued with a cake-cutting ceremony, where the teachers and students joined together to celebrate the occasion joyfully. Finally, Dr. S. C. Jeyakumar delivered the vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to all the participants for their presence and contribution towards making the celebration a memorable and successful one. The programme concluded on a joyful and appreciative note, strengthening the bond of respect and gratitude between the teachers and students.
