A one-day workshop on “How to Read Newspaper” was conducted on 14 July 2025, organized by the PG Commerce Department. Mr. Narayanan from The Hindu guided students on developing effective newspaper reading habits to improve general knowledge, analytical skills, vocabulary, and preparation for competitive exams like UPSC, TNPSC, and banking. The session was engaging and motivational. First-year B.Com students have started their newspaper subscriptions, beginning their journey of informed reading.
